If you choose to submit your own artwork to us, you should follow the following guidelines to ensure that the finished printed product is as true to your vision as possible.  Following these guidelines will also eliminate art fees.  Artwork can be submitted via hard copy, electronic media (cd, flash drive, floppy, etc.) or can be emailed to image1marketing@aol.com
Please do not email us art if you do not have a pending order.
Such emails will be immediately deleted.
  • The image should be black and white line art.  If it is in color that color will have to be removed, increasing the production time and you may incur art fees.  All pencil work should be inked in and then erased.
     

  • *The art should preferably be in an .eps, .tiff, .bmp, .psd (Photoshop), .cdr (CorelDraw), fh9-11 (Freehand)  or .ai (Illustrator) format.
     

  • If there is typed text, it should be converted to paths/outlines/curves.
     

  • If you need to submit a file in a .jpg/.jpeg format, the compression should be the highest value (meaning the lowest level of compression) or no compression.
     

  • We cannot use .doc (Word), .ppt (PowerPoint), .pub (Publisher) .qxd (QuarkXpress) documents.
     

  • The image/document should be at least full page (8"x10").
     

  • If you have a sketch, our artists can recreate it to your specifications, though separate art charges may apply.
     

  • If your design is a names list design and you wish to submit your those names, please submit the file as a Word (.doc), text (.txt) CorelDraw or Freehand file.  Use either Times or Arial as the font.
    All text should be in one column, no matter how many pages it would generate.

*Note:  With most software, once the design is completed, you can either save or export the file as one of the above formats.
